"Understanding value rather than cost and the benefits of building relationships rather than the race to the bottom" is an example of one of the biggest challenges facing our industry.
"Very few sites are interested in maintaining a cost quality balance. There is only a drive for cost. The reasons behind this are complex. But because of this there is no confidence in the construction industry and it has a bad reputation. I don't think the industry is wlling to do what is needed in order to change that. It just seems to want to band aid what it has and limp on. I don't think I can be part of that mentality"
Our vision is for an industry that is purpose driven, values itself and gets recognition for it. Where a holistic approach to best value in the procurement process is taken, people value themselves and that value is demonstrated.
